Why em i not permitted to post in FS threads??

Cars for sale

You are not permitted to reply to ads in cars for sale. All other classifieds forums are open for replies. This is clearly stated in the "Rules for Posting". The reason for this is that there has been conflict/controversy generated in this particular forum in the past generating much angst and wasting a huge amount of admin time sorting it out.
We encourage users to correspond via personal messaging when replying to for sale ads unless the post has something constructive or informative to offer.
This policy is consistent with most other responsible car forums.

Mods CAN post in For Sales posts, but should moderate themselves and only do it when it is actively helping the sale.

General comments or irellevant chat in the for sales I delete if I find it.

I was bashing Andrew's (gtimk5) MSN link last night, trying to work out why I couldn't post in a FS thread. Just found this old thread, and realised I was a dumb arse because I "ripped open the box and started playing straight away, without reading the instructions".

Consider my self severely chastised (boy that was fun)

....and bumping this important piece of info...because I am sure there are others out there that are like me (don't bother with the instructions until it is too late).
