Brilliant!! When was working at Kmart, we had a catalogue come out with tickets all over it that were meant to be for a movie or some crap. I got bored one night and decided to scan the barcode on the tickets and it came up in the cash registers as XL Rough Ridder condoms! LOL to the catalogue department at Coles Group!
I'd pull that down before anyone else reports it, I don't find it offensive but I know a ****load of people who would!!!
**** em. People need to be tolerant. This religion thing is not a one way street and while i understand some people are into that stuff and respect their views, they need to respect people that aren't that way inclined.
It's OK for people to preach their religious views but it's not OK to do the opposite? **** that. I vote the picture stays.

Preen mate, im sure you're a nice guy. but this is the ***** that causes crap between cultures/religions/nationailities/etc. This contradicts the whole thought of Australia being a friendly, unracial, undiscriminative country that is open to all.
No one should be placed in a state where they have to 'tolerate' being disrespected.
Don't get me wrong i did see the humour in it, but i still find it wrong.
let me tell you guys a little story. in the mid-late nineties, i went to high school. im half filipino. i discovered an odd little thing about this nation of ours... it is HUGELY intolerant. BIG TIME. the crap that i had to put up with in my first couple of years in high school, for being half asian....
then i snapped at the one guy who was the worst [he was the form bully] and.... well, objectively, its been agreed, that the only words to use to describe what i did to him, were that i ****ed him up. even THEN, people went out of their way to be racist.... in groups, this time.
go to chapel street 24 hour bottle-o on a saturday night. there are a couple of indian/ sri lankan dudes working the door there... now, you get 17 year old chicks come along and when they dont have id to get in, you should hear some of the things that come out of their mouths... "***k off back to india you ****ing curry munching black ***t!!!!!" . these are city girls, born in the early-mid nineties, well into australia's run of announcing just how multicultural and embracing we are.
bottom line is this..... australia is both diverse, and prejudiced, at the same time, IMO. we're sort of like the backwater little hick town that people overseas like to reference every now and then in order to get a little chuckle....
am i sensitive to racism any more? no... why?
i realised that pics/ jokes/ derogatory remarks are really not the kind of things that change what i do in my day [taking a shower, watching a tv show, doing some work, reading a book etc], and to be frank...... i just got over myself. that's all it boiled down to. i stop crapping on about some jaw-droppingly idealistic, all-embracing utopia that is NEVER going to exist, and i just frigging got over myself.
oh, and p.s. the reason why i dont take heated racism debates seriously any more.... it takes two to tango. there are people EVERYWHERE in australia who, apparently, abhor the idea of being here, and they're not afraid to say so. thats also why i dont take the debate seriously..... it's hardly a case of ''white guy dont like innocent demure little asians'' anymore. there's much, much racism going the other way, only apparently, ''white'' aussies have to endure it in their efforts to appear more ''open minded and culturally accepting''. utter horse crap.

My point was that people need to (like Scott has said) get the **** over it. Have some humility. Not EVERYTHING has to be taken offensively. I didn't say "take your stupid religion back to where you came from" or anything of the sort. What i mean is, it's a compromising situation, that if you have a sense of humor, you can have a chuckle at.
People need to be able to laugh at themselves a bit more instead of getting on the back foot all the time. I'm white and i'm 100% atheist.. So apparently i have to put up with EVERYONE elses **** because anything i say is either racist or insensitive? Sorry.. But you are part of the problem.
One of the Great Australian Past Times is taking the piss. Out of yourself, or someone else.. It really doesn't matter. Just be able to have a laugh at yourself, then have a laugh with everyone else.
For the record, my Hairdresser is half Chinese/Aboriginal (her parents live in Tennant Creek) and i have many asian, negro etc friends, all with varying religious views. We all get along because we all tolerate and accept our differing views.
What's the difference between someone having a shot at me about my big nose or my not so good skin compared with me having a shot at them for being asian/black/short/tall- whatever? NOTHING. That's what. Do i get offended? No. I laugh. And I think maybe it's time you did the same.
Anthony, that picture isnt the reason we have wars, its because certain cultures and religions are absolutely intolerant to others' beliefs. the picture is just another excuse to start yet another war
