Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

You still see a few Ventos in Melbourne, but I think only about 400 were sold when new,so they are quite rare.
It was however a very good car.

I'd love to get a photo shoot with decent Mk2, Mk3, Mk4 and Mk5 sedans! Would be the photoshoot of the decade!

        And how about a MK1 included ?

In South Africa,it would be possable...AND in Mexico,Canada, and America, you could add a MK6 Jetta into the line up.

I've only ever seen Mk2-Mk5 in Brisbane, never seen a Mk1 or a Mk6 (for obvious reasons).

I have seen a M1 in Sydney and Melbourne, however have never seen a MK2 in Australia.

You see a few Ventos in Melbourne,a fair amount of Boras, and millions of Jettas.

Its been a big hit here, hopefully the new model will be even more popular from next year ???

The Jetta has been the top selling car in China for a few years now, which is quite an achievement,as its the biggest car market in the world now.
