ACT Black 3dr Mk6 Golf GTI - NSW plates "MVIGTI"

I often see this car on Wentworth Ave in Kingston on my way to work in the mornings. It has the 18" Detroits and looks HAWN! The plates are NSW white on red slimlines.

Do we know if the owner/driver is on VWW?

I'm mostly in the S3 when I see it, but have also spotted the car while driving our Mk5.

Had a week running around Canberra early October, mostly southside.
Spotted absolutely heaps of Golf's.....Golf city my nephew has christened it.
