Spotted a sweet Black MKIV Passat on Stud road/Burwood highway intersection this arvo around 7pm.
It was full euro VIP spec - roof racks, VW front badge deleted, and it was slammed on black meshies that had a chrome lip and it was wrapped with well stretched tyres.

The design was just like the BBS RS wheels. Not sure if real or not. Probs fakes (like most).
Car did look pretty typical veedub modified. Had a nice exhaust note too.
Why found in gutters?

Think that was me you got a 5 door black gti with black wheels and badges?
Newp. I have a black bora 4motion but it's currently undriving; sitting pretty in the backyard for the last few weeks with a big hole in the sump.
I was in my company car which is a Mondeo station wagon. You don't know me. I know you.
You'd never spot it - looks like any other wagon, apart from an Orix bumper sticker, P plates, some 5' 4" pesky kid in the drivers seat with hair reaching to the sky and the back packed with cardboard boxes + display bins.
