Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

i just want a 1.8t or tdi under the bonnet of the bora, and being the bora is a daily hack a tdi for the country miles would be perfect
r32 mods are saweeet, but yeah - i get the idea that you're a high km kinda guy, and the tdi would be good for a brap but especially for you to shift into 5th@1050rpm@62kph, and just.... enjoy those fuel sipping clicks
that's what i've been doing lately - just taking it easy. it's nice, for a change!

last night, going onto yarra bend, spotted a dark metallic grey either mk5 or mk6 gti that took off up the hill after the round about (i had done a u turn).
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO tempting to chase him, but i abstained - i was there to walk up and down the stairs at the chandler hwy end of the bend, after all.
