Maroon MkIII Golf GL spotted on Rochester St Homebush at around 2pm, 6/9/2011. I <3 Italia and Italian Flag stickers on the rear windshield and an Italian boxing glove hanging off rear-view mirror. Number plates were AJJ-18K. Sitting on original 5 spoke rims and the car looked neat as!
Yesterday we saw a very clean and tidy Mk4 Golf GT (VW-1610) and an ABT Scirocco near the big Audi Centre at Zetland, first time I've seen one in the flesh and WOW! Wish I took a photo!
Saw a rat looking MKI 3 door that was probably white or cream at one time heading southbound through Glenorie on Old Northern Rd at about 5ish today. Looked more authentic rat than contrived rat. Sounded good as it went past too.
Spotted the new owner of matts latest 2 door vr6, white plates vw 2800 at shell at 1am on sunday morning in cremorne...opposite maccas. i would have stopped to say hi in mine...but id just had trouble with the cops and my car...and there were more cops in that petrol station...looks clean as but!
Saw these all last night within 50 metres of one another on Darling St Balmain last night at around 9pm (all Golfs):
gunmetal grey MkVI Gti parked right out front of Pizza e Birra
dark blue mkV parked 3 cars in front of above
white mkIV parked 4 cars in front of above
dark grey mkIII parked on opposite side of Darling St about 6 cars down
then a red mkI parked about 10 cars behind above.
Was pretty happy haha, saw nearly every gen golf on the way to our car
Spotted New face lifted Tiguan in Parramatta turning onto Great Western Highway. Driving past and couldn't get my phone out quick enough, however, managed to capture a blurry shot.
I didn't know the face lifted Tigs were available yet. Sorry for the photo it was a last second driving past shot.
