Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

that thing is terrible, bounces around like crazy and goes like a hyundai getz with 22" wheels.
Well I'm pretty sure most MKIV owners wished they had the amount of work gone into the paintjob and interior, sure the wheels aren't that great but at least the car doesn't look like EVERYTHING else.

Props to the guy for going out on a limb and not making a MKIV that just looks like a 5dr R32, or just another golf on Audi A8 reps...

golf houso, perfect car for you then i think?

so spending x amount of money at a shop asking them to come up with a hektik scheme for you is "unique"?

although i dont like it, i give credit yes for different but for ppl who pay someone else to do absolutely everything its pretty poor effort and creativity of their own car imo.

guess im not hektik enough lol

agree with you there tho Ray, show n no go why the hell not .. its one or the other in some cases! its not the worst iv seen, probably one of the better ones.. guess its same with mk4 wheels on mk3s that dont fit? lol
