I was already parked, just came out after shopping to discover it! It's rare that I park in these ones actually as they are so tight (there are some parallel ones up against the wall I normally frequent) but glad I did today to capture this shot

Oh yeah, good to have brakes and a stereo as well as all the mod cons. It's got more controls on the steering wheel than the Mk1 has in the whole car! But the Mk1 is still a thrill to drive - about a ton lighter than the Mk5, better visibility and more of a 'real' driving experience. haha you'll love the mk5 though - probably still my favourite of the modern VWs (not that I am biased or anything!).
Also, I spotted a flawless red mk2 (I think it was gen2 anyway) on Bridge Rd twice today, once on the way to work this morning and then back home again this arvo. Female driver. Very clean

Spotted a dark blue mk3 golf with Victorian plates yesterday. wheels that looked similar to ATS cups but not entirely sure since it was moving when i saw it. Traveling along sheriffs road at Morphett Vale at about 3:30Comment

I saw a Tornado Red Mk5 R32 when riding past along the foreshore at Seacliff on Sunday. Just about fell off my bike doing a double-take and drooling.
