Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    [BRIS] Recommended body repairers and/or VW parts repair

    Hi all,

    I've done a search but the results are quite old. Just looking for a smash/body repairer, someone trustworthy and will do a good job, price is important as well but prefer to get the job done once and correctly. I'm also after some repairs done to my car that's VW specific, I haven't called the dealership service department yet and again looking for recommendations on a reputable workshop.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi, Just took my car to Prestige and Performance | Dealership Alternative for VW, AUDI and BMW and highly recommend them.

    I'm about to take the car to The Bump Shop - Smash Repairs and Panel Beaters Brisbane to get a quote done also (I need to get a repair done to the front bumper). Will let you know what their like if I go ahead.

      Went to the bump shop and had my front bumper repaired. Les was fantastic and received great service and price!
