Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Upgrading alarm system for gti

    I am looking forward to upgrade factory alarm system
    Is there any advice and recommendation in Melbourne area

    APR intake flap delete, tarmac intercooler, wheel spacers , R8 coil kits, new south performance gauges , bsc PVC revamp and heat shield, Koni sport shocks and springs set

    Does it not already do everything you need?

    Covers all doors, movement sensors, shuts windows and opens them. The only thing I would say is missing is microwave so you can have interior protection with the windows down.

      Agreed. I don't think you need to add anything else.

      If you're concerned about it being pinched, be more vigilant about where you park it.

          Yeah, maybe be a bit more specific on what you're thinking of (that the factory system doesn't have), what you want in regards to features etc..
