Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    New VW dealer/service centre in Rockdale, NSW

    Not sure if this is old news, but i only just noticed the new VW dealership in Rockdale on my drive home (i must be in a daze during my normal commute, as i got past there just about every damn day - either that or they finally put up the flags ) Might be handy for those who live in the southern suburbs of Sydney.

    I just popped in to check if they had a service centre (as it wasn't obvious from looking at it) as I need to get something checked out with my steering, and before i knew it, i was booked in for tomorrow morning. This is a refreshing change from previous experience with the next nearest service centre (Barloworld Mascot) and it normally taking a couple of weeks to even get looked at (I know its not their fault if demand is high)

    Add in the fact that its within walking distance from home, and everything's coming up Milhouse

    In haven't spotted it either, although 95% of the time I drive to work via General Holmes Drive. Can only be a good thing...

      For those not quite sure where it is, Princes Hwy Rockdale, a block north of Maccas/Rockdale plaza, on the left-hand-side city-bound.
