BMS Auto Haus Darlinghurst - Servicing, 50% less than dealership pricing

Following up on my own post, decided to use them for my 30k service. Got a very good price, they addressed a few non-service issues as well and gave the car a quick clean. Happy days!

Got mine booked in for the 45k service tomorrow. Quoted a good price and they squeezed me in on short notice... We'll see how happy I am in 30 hours give or take I guess haha

Just wanted to provide feedback on servicing of my Polo GTI - it was due for its second service. I called a number of dealerships, and each time had to wait on the phone, being transfered between different departments just to get a quote. And when I finally got through to someone, was quoted $660 and a hazy explanation as to why it was so high.

After the 3rd dealership, I decided to call the guys at BMS Auto Haus (Darlinghurst). I got straight through to the owner (Joe) who spent the time explaining what was involved in the service and even checked with the VW mechanic on site to confirm the details so that the quote was as accurate as possible (and was half as much as the dealers).

When I dropped the car off, I met with Joe to confirm what was required, as well as the mechanic (Steve) to discuss the oil they use.

I picked up the car the following day - they explained to me everything that had been done, filled up the 1L oil bottle I keep in the car and had even washed it!

The time they took explaining everything to me, and the service they performed went well beyond my expectations.

I won't be taking my car anywhere else.

x2, I was actually going to post a thread about these guys and saw this thread. I can definitely vouch for their quality service. I have been actively looking for a mechanic since having an absolute horror saga with my sunroof amongst other things with particular dealership in Sydney.

Great friendly service, knowledgeable and CHEAP! I have been telling everyone I know about these guys so happy to have found someone I can trust.

I recently bought a MKV GTI and dropped it off at BMS for a service. Excellent customer service and the staff (Joe and Steve) are very friendly and knowledgeable. Although I'm new to the VW scene, I'm glad I went with these guys and know where I'll be taking my car next time!
