  • Best VW repairer in Sydney

    Hi,

I have a new VW GOLF GTI MK6 and I have damaged the left wheel (suspension, CV joints, etc.. no panel damage) and I'm looking for the best repairer in Sydney.

I live in Manly and will need a AAMI approved shop.

    Can anyone make some suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

No one is ever aami approved.. annoying farks they are.. (just car the same)

i have only ever taken my car to Jade Auto Repair in rosebery, they do audi centre sydneys cars, and also barlow mascot too ..

not aami approved, but if you choose them to repair your car it will be repaired there.
    What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

..lol, ta for that. Jade do look good and I will recommend them to AAMI despite not being an approved repairer.

I have a lifetime guarantee on the repairs, however I just dont want any Jack to fix my wheels and jeopardize the GTI handling dynamics.

Sorry but since when has AAMI let anyone choose their repairer? I work in the industry and AAMI are well known for not providing "choice of repairer". Just do a google search and find consumer feedback about AAMI and there are plenty of people out there who have been burnt by this (including I). Dodgy repairs etc. AAMI will take your car and get repairers to come to their assessment centre and quote...and who ever is the cheapest ...they get to fix it. This can increase the risk of the repairs not being done to an acceptable standard. You'll probably find that Jade Auto Repair isn't a recommended repairer, because AAMI think they are too expensive (but they probably do high quality work)

I pick up my Mk6 GTI this week and I will never insure my new baby with AAMI or its child company's (bingle, Just Car etc) because I want the peace of mind that I know i choose my repairer if (god forbid) anything should happen.

Good luck though with your repairs.

          Yeah, no.

I OWN a panel shop in botany, and we do insurance work for AAMi, ALLIANZ, NRMA, GIO, LUMLEY, etc etc... And They can NEVER not give you choice of repairer.

AAMI and NRMA have Preferred repairers, but they cannot be the vehicle owners only choice.
If you ever have an accident, your fault or 3rd party, feel free to go to your repairer. Always.

Also if your work is done through insurance it has a lifetime warranty on it. 2 years or 20 years.
