Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Details? My old Golf is looking for parts/mechanic on the Gold Coast that won't use crap parts or rip him off.

            Hey Crazygee, are you still "Practicing" the art of VW servicing and repairs? I'm looking at a 1998 g3 auto at the moment and it would be nice to know there is a reliable service agent close by. I live at Lawnton so Brendale is nice and close.
