  • looking to get clutch done in MK4(newcastle to sydney)

    Anyone know of a good place to get my clutch replaced either in the newcastle area or im willing to travel to sydney if i have to.
    I basically want a slightly better then stock clutch because im not pushing big power.

      yeah i have done abit of research on that and i cant seem to find a supplier in australia.

      or is buying online from the states the only option

          Is it a GTI?
          I have done a few conversion kits on MK4 GTIs.
          We basically use a solid flywheel and a VR6 Clutch to do away with the dual mass nonsense and you get a much better responce, for a lot less money.
          Brand new Clutch Kit and Solid Flywheel will cost you $550 from us.
          Call if you want full price, including fitting.

            just a small note, the solid flywheel will usually make a bit of a rattle at idle when you have the aircon on. other than that, very nice feeling clutch setup.
            (this on my gti...)
