I'm also looking for an exhaust place in Melbourne.
Was going to try Dandy Exhaust, but haven't got around to see them yet!
Guys....Other suggestions would be very welcome please.
@hiho - Just a thought mate, once we both find a decent place to take our cars, we can go/call together and try to get a better deal. No biggy if your not interested .
I've used Daalder exhausts in Box Hill the last couple of times and they havent been too bad, or too pricey
VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it

I've used Daalder in Preston and they were ok, also used Ace exhausts on Plenty rd or High st, and they were helpful, but I think they have closed down. Had a bad experience many years ago with Performance Exhaust in Coburg (gaffney st) not long after they had an ownership change, so I can't recommend them. They had done good work for me with the previous owner.
Think a mate has gone to Glenroy exhaust and had no issues either.
I wouldn't recommend dalder in box hill anymore, poor managment skills mean the talent welder fabricator that was there, is very dismayed, that's if he hasn't quit yet. used to be quite good. i wouldn't go there again.
Unfortunately I don't know any places up north. Waverly exhaust did my old 2 door, on time as quoted. can't as much more, but nothing special. I'm keen to try ringwood performance exhausts next time I need work done (if i don't do it myself that is)

I had them do a repair for me and service was very good and guy I spoke to was friendly...not a big job though, so i can't really comment on job quality.
