i have had a really really bad experience with OPVW. They were supposed to replace a front wheel bearing. They didnt do the wheel alignment (the car was not pulling to the left, it was turning tothe left) and they damaged my front bumper. I did a full writeup with pics on here.
I bought the two grilles in the bumper from Wangara VW. they had to order them and after 2 weeks i called to see if they got them and the guy said that they were sitting on the shelf for a good week. Noone bothered to give me a call.
So im not taking my car to any dealerships anymore. golfwagen is the best place i found so far and i'll be taking it there from now on

We bought our R32 new from Wangara Feb 09. First service due 08-09 we'd done 2000kms. Took it down there,
Was given TDi Passat also as loaner for the day. Not happy that stuff disappeared from car during service. Will not be going back there.

Did you report this to the service manager? What was their response?

Hi guys,

very interested in these threads as I have to decide where to drop off my new VW for the 7,500 service.

My previous car was a Holden Barina Sri. I remember perfectly the day I dropped my car off for its first service at Holden. When I went to pick it up some idiot had managed to get scratches and swirls all over the brand new paint.

I REALLY don't want a similar experience with my new pride and joy...

Generally...yes. It's the free-of-charge panel /paint modifications that they provide, that really gets me pi$$ed off.

Yeah, any unauthorized weight reduction/ panel modification is an issue for me...

i dont know why you all dont head down to Golfwagen...? Joe is so helpful and friendly and he really makes you feel your getting your car check by a pro... you know with him he wont have some apprentice changing your own and then slapping you with a huge bill! i went in for a service the other day he call me at 10 and said this is whats wrong with it this is how much it will cost you happy with that, when i picked my car up not only was it under what the deals quoted but it was under what he quoted! he also went and showed me everything he replaced so you knew he was genuine when you saw these broken parts coming out your car! isnt it funny that VW Wan is on the forum defending there work getting stuck into there customers while good old golfwagen only get good things said about them?
