In reply to your original question, Quattro Motors in Burswood service a lot of the local member's cars. They have a VAG COM in their workshop too. I'm not sure if any members have one though (yet).
Hi SteveS3, I've got Vagcom. It's the can-bus only one, so only does the latest models (about '06 onwards I think). I might be able to help, depending on location, free time etc. I don't know the ins and outs of what to code for what you want to do, you'd have to research that bit yourself.
I have done a bit of research, im looking at buying the nav precoded for my model and options so i'll only need limited coding done (instrument cluster)
