Anyone know of any good window tinters in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne? I've seen some pretty bad tint jobs around, so I don't want to go to the wrong place.
The tint professor can do the entire car for $265. Has anyone used them?
Welcome to the forum GTIputih, I'm new as well. You will find that it's a very friendly forum where everyone's willing to help.
I haven't had a chance to look into different prices yet, but I will once I finish exams. It would be good if we could organise a group booking with some other members as well and try to reduce the cost.
I'm based in Sydney, so sorry, I can't help you out!
But on the topic of tinting, I was thinking of getting mine done too, and am wondering where I can get some good quality tinters out there, at a good price too, if there's such a thing.
Start of the year, saw an advertisement on Windsor Rd, North Parramatta, about a new business called Eurotint - they were offering $200 for a complete job at the time. Anyone been there before?
If you're referring to Eurotint at North Parramatta, NSW, then I'm not sure... The billboard said "Starting price at $200" so I'm guessing it's the lightest tint for the smallest car you could drive
I found this guy that comes to you.Did my friends shops and then his car.Great job! quoted me $250 for my golf, never rang him as the upgrade bug bit me!
he does the Sydney area,PM me if anyone wants his number.

i went up the Coburg tintprofessors last time... done in around 3hrs busy time
265 for all sedans n hatches...
but i think it is way too dark to see through... so if you decided to go you better tell em what sort you want when you book in
Just be very carefull of the actual tint material. The best is from the good ol U.S.A. the stuff made elswhere is maybe not as good or as long lasting.
the tint shop - www.tintshop.com.au
cost: $325.
I asked for the top of the range (Using MEPfilms) from US of A (**** knows how good they are?) but she says the warranty comes with it and it is transfferable. They use pure metal coated layer, no dye colour.
i have used Car Tint, a guy by the name of Rob Tait Ph 0417 755 537 (melb) is widely regarded as the industry benchmark...does a lot of the show cars when they roll in for the international motor show...is incredibly fastidious...
Hey everyone, sorry i'm no help or a Melb tinter, but i'd like to ask a question,
i'm getting my golf tinted soon, but can't decide on which to get.
my options are straight black at about 20% that way it goes with all the black parts of my car and my rims,
or i've seen a tint that goes from silver to black... i've got mixed messages from alot of friends, i personally like the silver to black to look different,
so let me know what you think
Here's a pic to display what the tint would look like.
