don't know about North Eastern, but the Remus distributor is in Wantirna I believe from memory and he was willing to sell to me direct when I asked who i could get a rear muffler and resonator from.

I know Performance Exhaust in Ringwood sell/stock Remus too. Also Carshine in Tullamarine.

il think il be giving car shine a go im looking at getting a full system installed
iv heard remus isnt too loud
theres nothing worse than a constant humm in your ears everywhere u drive

a really good exhaust shop should be able to do a system for you that does not drone or is too loud.I just put a whole system on my audi coupe ,non brand name and its not loud at all and without any droning....

cost me $440.... a remus back box will cost you alot more than that + fitting


someone here should be able to refer you to a good shop in melb.

There was a thread recently regarding recommended exhaust shops.
As George said, a remus rear box will set you back around $900 alone.
This was the way I was originally going to go, but after I had the 4motion rear valance fitted up, the back hole just looked too ugly and had to be filled.

I had a 2.5" stainless magnaflow muffler fitted for $480 irrc, then later had a matching 2.5" dump pipe made and fitted, plus an additional resonator (was a bit loud for my taste) for around $700

i ended up going the safe bet and bought a full remus exhaust
front silencer
center silencer
and rear muffler twin pipes
1650 fitted i know its expensive but safe for somone as clueless as me
