Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Best mechanic in Northern Tas for VW

    Anyone know of a good VW mechanic in northern Tas? Has anyone had any experiences with Jacksons as i haven't been there yet?
    After picking up my MK4 golf from a cambelt change at a local workshop i realised that although the guys at the workshop may have been good mechanics i think i knew more about MK4 golfs than they did. If im going to pay top $ for a mechanic, i atleast wont to know they know what they're doing.

      in the Launceston area theres Melbern Automotive (which have just taken over Volks Imports as well i think) and apparently they deal with a few euros.
