Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Air Conditioning Central Coast

    Hey guys,

    Can anyone recommend a decent air con company for a re-gas. Put the air con on the other day and not much cold air came out so I think it time for more gas. I am on the Central Coast NSW.

    You probably should get the system checked out properly not just regassed, because there must be a leak for the gas to escape.

      I can't quite remember now who did my aircon on my old car, but they were a mobile company and when the guy did it he put some neon coloured liquid that stained anything so if I had a leak he'd be able to find it straight away

        Yeah I have been told that they will test the system which is good.

        I did have the number of a really good guy but I lost it and he doesn't advertise and he gets flooded with work just from word of mouth. Just hopeing someone on the coast has had good / bad experience with someone.
