    Hey,

I went to Volks Affair yesterday as I had some suspension noise. I called Tom up at lunch time to see if I could drop by so we could try and diagnose the problem. I got there 20mins later, we took the GTI (MkIV) for a test drive and had it up on the hoist a short time later. I now have a noise free GTI.

I must say I was impressed by their knowledge and extremely quick turnaround time. I'm not sure how they are for pricing but it cost me $100 to have two stripped and one broken bolt replaced.

All in all I'm a happy man.

    Alex

I've had 1 good experience there (first time) and then not so good recently, they lost my VW centercaps!

I just went there to get some tyres fitted, it seemed like a pretty decent place.

Why do these experiences need to remain private? Surely expressing your experience with a workshop does not automatically qualify for slandering...

I agree. I am currently looking for a convenient place with fair prices, Volks Affair was at the top of the list until I read that you guys have had bad experiences. What happened?

Euroclass could also work for me, but they seem to be a bit expensive from what Ive heard

Volks affair are rip off crooks. They charged double of dealer full service charge just for oil change, and listed $2000 further repair/replacement to be done which VW dealer said it was a big rip off confirming there is no such repair to be done. Beware of those guys.
