Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Service / mechanic recommendation in Sutherland Shire / Sydney

    Hi there,
    I've just purchased a Passat 130TDI Wagon and searched the forum for any recommendations, but could not find any for this area.
    Any recommendations for servicing / repairs in Sydney's Sutherland Shire (the closer to Cronulla the better).

    Just happened upon this post, you've no doubt already found someone but worth noting....

    Rainer is owner and sole mechanic, ex German/MB trained.
    Quite a following among the Audi/VW and Beemer set.
    I doubt anybody knows VW like he does in The Shire.
    Just be prepared for the German abrupt nature but under it he's a good guy .

      Bit further but on the train line. Wolfsburg Motors at St Peters have always looked after my cars.
