Looks like VW has sent out discount codes to at least some who've registered an interest for this year's Volkswagen Driving Experience days, bookings for which open today.

But unfortunately tickets are not on sale for Brisbane / Sydney yet as the dates are not confirmed for Feb / March 2018!

I was hoping for the Brisbane event to be arranged sooner than next year!!!

Volkswagen Driving Experience

Well if you didn't get your ticket for Phillip Island you'll have to wait for the 2018 event as they sold out in 10 minutes.

Some small issues with the payment gateway getting hit too many times for payments and not going through but hopefully there's not too many people missed out.

Still plenty of tickets for Perth and Adelaide. AdamD and I will be heading along to the Sat am session at Mallala if anyone else wants to book in on that one.

Just one question tho to people who have been before
how early should i get there? i am monday arvo 12.30 start so i thought get to car park 12ish?

I'd aim to get there with plenty of time to spare (good half an hour).

Make sure you both bring your drivers license otherwise you can't drive.

$400 but with $100 discount code brings it to $300. Sydney event usually sells out very quickly so suggest you register online and get on when the tickets go live so you don't miss out.

Thanks for the info, I have driven around EC enough so I might pass at that price. I seriously thought it was a drive experience day free of charge to experience cars I might want to buy. I did register BTW but I will pass.

I think the $ that VW asks for is fair given the cost of hiring the track, having a team of experienced trainers there on the day, driving VW's cars, tyres, brakes, fuel and being given breakfast/lunch and a bit of merchandise and a USB stick of your hot laps.

But agree if you've done a fair bit of driving on a track it's a reasonable amount for not that many laps.

The tickets go on sale 9am (AEST) Friday 24th November...
I have another $100 discount code too.

The vehicles will be new Golf R, new Golf GTI, Passat 206 and Tiguan 162.
