Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Trying to chase down a lead, Adelaide visit.

    Hey guys im trying to track down a lead/forum member. A few years ago a forum member traveled to Adelaide, he went to Upullit. Got a contact number from a Upullit employee, The contact was for a guy that lives in Adelaide who has a number of VW vehicles. This member traveled to this mans house, he took a number of photographs of the vehicles he had. I remember him having a number of vehicles undercover.

    Im trying to locate this forum member. I want to ask if he saved this persons number. I hope he reads this

      He's clearly after someone with old VW's stashed away and doesn't want to give anyone else a tip-off and beat him to it...

      I'm guessing it'll be something for his '75 Passat project... unless he's chasing this Scirocco

        I remember the member posted photo's and there was a Passat TS stashed under dry cover. Looked pretty solid by the looks of it. Want to esquire if he will let me come up there and have a look. And its always good to have these details on hand in the community, incase anyone needs anythings.

          It sounds to me like you may possibly be referring to Aaron from Fab Thirteen - he has a very large collection of Audis and VWs (including a B1 Passat Wagon for sale at the moment).

            After a bit more digging around, this member had a brown audi fox he was working on restoring. I can feel im getting closer to the members name...
