Shipping wheels to USA

Someone in USA wants to buy my BBS wheels, however I get quotes from DHL, Fedex, UPS Australia websites, they're all over $1200 to ship 4 wheels to USA, that's ridiculously high. I have bought a few set of wheels from USA before, shipping was generally between US$300 to $400.

Has anyone ship wheels to outside Australia, what did you use ? I'm sure there are better way.

Going from his WTB thread, he must be referring to his BBS RS003. They are highly sought after in the US and Europe.

No one spends big dollars on wheels in aus, so they can be fairly priced with overseas stuff even including shipping.
Be keen to see what you find out to be cheapest
