Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    attitude and capability...
    also i didnt got any notice for the recent recall.
    everytime i call them they are busy so i leave my name and contact, for more than 5 times, they never called back.
    I have to ring them again every single time.

      Burwin Commercial are highly recommended by me... They "get it" that people are emotionally driven when buying a car!

      I had some paint defects, which were sent out to have the entire panel resprayed, no issue at all...

      Talk to Ray or Brendan... And yes, I'm talking about buying passenger vehicle from the commercial dealership... Negotiable on price, and great pre and post sale service

        No.

        It's an insurance policy underwritten by Allianz, not a true extension of a VW manufacturer's warranty. It's priced like any insurance product - Allianz intends to make profit. Not everything that would normally be covered, is.

        For that kind of coin I'd rather self-insure and/or take my chances on a goodwill gesture if the worst happened outside the warranty period.

          Simon from Epping was a good guy, very helpful.

          Price dictated that I bought from South Yarra. The hand over was dealt with professionally by George, I couldn't speak highly enough. The follow up has also been great. I have had 2 calls since asking if I'm happy with the car and if I've any questions or issues.

            Go see vince at vw epping, great guy and he will look after you no matter what, pass on vw glen waverly that place is full of the rudest people you've ever come across in all departments.
