As the title states im keen on something quicker to satisfy my needs untill im off my p plates. Im keen on either a Vr6 or something Jap and RWD. I found this decent skyline but im not too eager on 4 doors again as i hate being the taxi everytime my mates need a lift and they just wont understand that i want my car as low as possible soi cant have them filling up my car and scrub my life away. Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

The most sensible economic decision you could make here would be to keep your golf. A skyline is a money pit, so is a vr6 unless your very lucky, and so will everything 'jap rwd' apart from maybe a $300 6 cyl cressida... which you could replace with another one when the headgasket blows.... not that they are quick, but maybe quicker than a 1.8 non-turbo or 2.0 golf 4.... maybe.... maybe. And they are definietly a taxi. So yeah, keep the golf.
Yes, this is an 'old man' talking.
Actually, maybe get a SEAT Cupra. Faster than your golf but probably just as reliable and only 2 doors.'07 Touareg V6 TDI with air suspension
