Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    hi,

    iv heard a rumour, that if you go to the vw factory in wolfsburg on your birthday you get a small gift?

    i have a friend going there next month and he asked me and i had no clue so i thought id see if anyone here knew

          It can take two weeks to a month to get the certificate
          If you organise it via email you should be able to ask the contact if you can pick it up in person.
          Mine was mailed to my home address for the Karmann Ghia.
