Hey guys everytime I make a audio cd for my car it won't red it says error and ejects the cd out. But when I play a cd that's been played before it works perfectly fine. I checked the format it's the same as I always use. Could it possible be the lens that reads the cd???

The CDs are perfectly fine!! I always burn with iTunes works in other cars but not sure why not, even tested it in an Xbox and worked there :/Comment

Are you using rewritable CDs? I found out after a few attempts that my MK IV deck wouldn't play rewritable CDs, but was fine with normal CDs I burnt!'03 BMP MkIV Golf GTI | Oettinger tune | K04 | 18" OZ

The only other things I can think of is that the laser diode output may be weakening as the player gets older and getting more choosy with the CDs it pays - either that or that the lens in the CD player itself is dirty / dusty.
