Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Photos I took in Samoa shortly after the 2009 tsunami.
Not very good quality shots, they were taken on my BlackBerry.
Amost everything you see in these photos was completely under water after the tsunami hit.
The wooden pew, 4 plastic chairs and office chair behind it are all that was recovered from the
interior of the church next door, they were found about 500 metres away in a tree. There were
about 40 pews in the church but all the rest were totally splintered.
The marks on this wall are from where the force of the water ripped the
steel fence out of it's concrete footing and slammed it into the wall about 12 feet behind.

That streak on the right side of the wave is actually a dolphin that jumped just as i took the shot!!! Very lucky timing!
