Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

All I used was Photoshop, and I only used that to increase contrast a little bit and resize it. If anything, it would've increased the amount of noise! I guess the 450D isn't too bad at handling high ISO
At high resolution though (shot that at 12MP), you could easily see the noise where the petals are.

Here's a couple from the other day when i was dropping some engines off in Forbes...
I stopped on the way home for a leak and thought i'd get a shot of the rain.
I took them with my N96 and they didn't come out too bad for a crappy camera phone. haha.

Our two new 'babies' ... come in for food each day ... sometimes with a parent ... sometimes alone. Fed one by hand today ... but he wasn't very hungry and just settled for tasting a finger instead of taking the mince out of my hand ... they're funny wee guys ... growl like little Tassie devils when they're eating.

Hey everyone, first of all, great pics guys! I'm really loving this thread!
I know I've been a bit quiet on the 'Dub front lately (living on a remote resort property in the middle of the Canadian Rockies will do that to you) however, while the snow is set in for the winter (and spring), there is one other interest of mine which seems to be pretty photogenic...
Snowboarding...
These are a few pictures I took of my mate Kirk playing around trying to perfect his rotations and grabs off a kicker (jump) I built a few weeks ago out the side of my staff residence...
BS Indy 360...
FS Iguana 360...
Just about to (unsuccessfully) land a tailboned nose grab 360... ouch...
A nice shifty to pose for the cameras...
I hope you enjoyed the pics guys...Canadian dubs coming to VWwA soon
