  • Cheap Melbourne Towing? Anyone got a lead? Also picking car up from NSW pickles?

    Hey all,

    2 questions...

First being, does anyone who anyone who does melbourne towing cheaply? Bought (another 6n1 polo from fowles today) and rather than send the brother in law out ther with at trailer I thought I would ask if anyone knows a cheap towing mob as its one of those things, i can hire a trailer for $30 from the local 7-11 and what not, but if i could get it towed back from laverton to Pakenham for say $100, it would not be worth the hassle and time of going to get it myself.

Also.. I suspect this will be a no, but does anyone fancy picking up a car from pickles Sydney and storing it for a week or so until I can come up and pick it up? So frustrating seeing cars go in NSW that I would love to buy but realistically just cant organise the logistics of such a purchase from down here... Would pay for your time/trouble of course...

    TIA

If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)

Sorry pontiff. If you have a bit of a read, you'll realise that all this forum is concerned about right now is DSG problems and dud diesel injectors.

Perhaps if you re-write your posts to include these issues you might get a better response. Perhaps the polo needs to be towed because it won't start, and the other car has a DSG - so it could never make it from Sydney to Melbourne?

    Just a thought...

Doesn't move? There are online mobs that will tow moving/starting cars for $299 or so when on special but as soon as they're damaged and not 'drive able' the cost goes through the roof which is fair enough given they can't be easily just thrown onto those large car carrier things...
