Best every day car that I've had the pleasure of driving recently is the Golf Mk6 103Tdi. I'd drive that every day over my old Mk5 R32. I've currently got a Mk7 110tdi and its amazing but out of your price range atm. The only way I can describe it is its a Diesel GTi. Can't wait to see what they do with the GTD when it comes out.

No unfortunately not EOFY sales as bought it in March. Should have waited for EOFY as 90TSI special edition looks just ideal.

Ended up with just a 90TSI liftback manual with park sensors pretty basic. We wanted a wagon and were considering a Fabia but the dealer offered this for $17990 so what can you do.

There was one advertised on carsales, exact same colour, spec and 1 digit off the rego for $18500 at the ringwood skoda dealer
