Found an old replay from GT5 from a year or so ago and uploaded it. Only crashed once

PM sent, haven't been on yet, since the service was down for maintenance the other day - but got another old replay up.

Was racing someone from Brazil so there was a bit of lag at times, and I'm hopeless at that track, but still fun.


Got Wednesday off so might have a go in the arvo.

Just remembered I have this video from a few years ago as well - the car in stock form struggled so much to get up the hill after turn 2, might've even had to shift down a gear half way going up it

Driving with a proper wheel, clutch and h shifter. Last lap shows the in car view.

Shift 2 is such a good game. So is Shift for that matter. Maybe not as realistic as GT5 but you are always in a race in Shift, not like GT5 where you can just burn through and win laps ahead in some races.

Shift 1 was great fun, Shift 2 I had working ok (after modding) for a few weeks and then I think the DLC patch broke the handling again... felt more like a boat... as such I didn't play beyond the 3rd section of career mode.

That said the Shift 2 devs (Slightly Mad Studios) have ditched EA and are making Project CARS without any publishers (community funded) and so far it's shaping up very well. Take a look: Project CARS Fan-made Trailer - "Feel The Difference" - YouTube

Currently in pre-alpha and sign-ups have closed for now - keep an eye out for it around Q4 2013. None of the floaty handling form Shift 2, this is better compared to the old GTR 2 game. And it has Bathurst and the Ford COTF V8 Supercar (car not built yet.. waiting for races to start for extra reference).

lol...actually there was not contact between me and the red beetle (tho it was bloody close) he missed is braking point.
I think I have a replay of that some where lol
