Yes, I try to make the life of my T5 engine easier during these hot days. The bonnet up, the garden hose on the intercooler while the engine is running for a couple of minutes or so, when I arrive home.

Mechanical sympathy FTW!

Well ok here's a pic but this was taken while I was stopped... It hit 45.5 whilst I was driving but I wasn't gonna take a pic while driving!

I was lucky to be able to snap it at 48 when I was stopped at the lights. I'd taken one at 46.5 earlier but then it went higher and luckily I was able to catch it at max temp when I was stopped (after it had gone up and down a few times in-between).
