  • What a Boofhead

I've recently fitted an RNS 510 to my R32. No problems so far and no battery drain. I proved this when I parked it at work for my week on. Started a the end of the week, no problem.

Then I fitted a Kufatec blue tooth system. Back to work and parked it up for another week.

So on Wednesday morning I knock off work and go out to the R32. Hit the unlock button and nothing. NOTHING! But I can hear an faint clicking noise? Press the unlock button a few more times. I can hear that faint clicking noise, but she's not going to work....?

Damn it. How I'm stuck and can't get home without lots of messing about, then I've gotta sort out what's wrong?!

So I'm standing there cursing and stressing. I press the unlock button a few more times and happen to look over at my work vehicle, that is happily unlocking itself on every press...... I've got the work keys haven't I?! There's nothing wrong, apart from me being a boofhead, that needs a few days off work

lol. I know what you mean about stressing out. Every time I modded my old Audi I would stress something wasn't done right and I'd end up taking one step forward two back. Didn't stop me doing a K04 turbo upgrade though.

I tried to unlock the work ute (old Holden Rodeo) with my VW key fob one morning.

Too many long days will do that.
