How to look after a car while licence is suspended?

Instead of putting it on blocks would just rolling it a little bit so it sits on different bits of the tyre every few days work? really don't want to put it up on stands for 3 months and dont really have any other wheels to put on, although I should have my RS finished by the end of the suspension, so the wheels that are on it now will be put aside incase I need to get another roadworthy or want to take it to the track again (I'll be happy to drive around with 195/45s on 15x9.5's on the street, but not going to push my luck on the track ) so I guess I'm not overly concerned about the tyres that are on it at the moment.

Transporters way really sounds the best but seems a little overkill for me, especially considering I don't really care all that much for the engine thats in it at the moment anyway, since I still plan on swapping it out for the VR6 (when I finish building it up to the monster it deserves to be) which could still be quite some time away though.

I'm much more confused than I was before creating this thread now Most people who aren't into car's would probably just let it sit and hope it starts again when they can drive again

Its just an old 8v.
They're overbuilt, slow revving, lazy engines, I think you'd actually have a hard time doing damage to it even if you tried.

My Brother left his MK6 GTI for 6 months while he was in Afghanistan. All he did was wash it and put a cover over it, didn't even disconnect the battery(he would next time).

When he got back, yeah the battery was dead. Had it charged up and the car runs perfectly!

He has been back a year now and the battery has held up fine in the Canberra winters morning.

So I don't think you need to do to much to the car for just sitting 3 months.

Edit: 2 days after he got back he then drove 1200kms to Qld without any problems
