I think it's particularly bad from an advertisers perspective because they're probably getting statistics that show plenty of clicks on their ad, when in reality it's because when i go to click the 'last' button for a thread before that last item has loaded, I end up on clicking the ad.

Is the problem perhaps IE9. I've been driven mad lately as IE9 has started blocking all the ads and popups, and it takes me several back clicks to get out of an eBay page for example, like I have to back click every blocked ad or dynamic feature, is driving me nuts. Same odd things happening all over the place, and messing with security settings etc does not seem to help. Doesn't happen in Chrome, not tried anything else. Seems to have become an issue in the last several weeks, and my money is on Microsoft being the problem, yet again.

You're probably right Greg, although I haven't had the same cookies/log-out issue with other forums. Perhaps I just don't spend as much time on them or have as many tabs open haha

I've started using Chrome for a few things elsewhere so I'll give that a whirl while logged in rather than just viewing as a Guest & see what happens...
