Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Don't get me wrong, I do like certain breeds of dogs (a Black Lab would be my pick), I just don't like lazy owners who couldn't be bothered to train or exercise their dogs.08 Golf GTI - SOLD

I've got 2 Labrador pups, a brown one and a black one. Right now they're a little disobedient, but they're getting better everyday.
When they're together they are really hyperactive and they get jealous of you're giving one of them attention. But on their own they can be really calm and obedient.. Still can't wait till they grow a little.

just got this:
1. The later you are, the more excited your dogs are to see you.
2. Dogs don't notice if you call them by another dog's name.
3. Dogs like it if you leave a lot of things on the floor.
4. A dog's parents never visit.
5. Dogs agree that you have to raise your voice to get your point across.
6. Dogs find you amusing when you're drunk..
7. Dogs like to go hunting and fishing.
8. A dog will not wake you up at night to ask, "If I died, would you get another dog?"
9. If a dog has babies, you can put an ad in the paper and give them away.
10. A dog will let you put a studded collar on it without calling you a pervert.
11. If a dog smells another dog on you, they don't get mad. They just think it's interesting.
Last, but not least:
12. If a dog leaves, it won't take half of your stuff.
To test this theory:
Lock your wife and your dog in the garage for an hour. Then open it and see who's happy to see you.

Easier to clean it up out of a tray than off a lawn. I maintain gardens for a living and I hate nothing more than having to clean up urban landmines before I start on someones garden.
Nearly slipped into a clients pool a few weeks back becuase their dog laid a fresh one on the decking right next to the pool, couldn't see it becuase it was the same colour as the deck.
Not having a go at you, of course. I know it's frustrating because I've had to clean up poos before doing gardens too but at least it's my own garden, not someone else's lawn. Fortunately our dog only does it in one spot in the garden and we clear it before the gardener comes. I nearly slipped on a ROAD because a dog had so conveniently deposited a turd on a wet road at night, right in the middle so that cars wouldn't run over it.
I was more referring to the expectation that cats don't need to be cleaned up after, which is a rather inconsiderate notion. The hair balls they hack up are almost as bad. They reek something chronic.

After working in China for 6 months I can't confirm that I haven't.
As I'm typing I can overhear my brothers annoying GF talking about how intuitive her cats are. (cue Demetri Martin's cuteness of girl v willingness to hear about her cat chart)
Here's a mate in NZ rocking out with his Brown Lab 'Bailey', teach her quad-bike etiquette , I could steal that dog was very cool.
