Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Sydney VW Drags!

Volkswagen drag racing returns to Sydney Dragway on 25th February 2012 after an absence of 8 years. This will be Round 1 in the VWMA drag racing series, with the ever popular VW Warwick as Round 2 on 29-30th September.

Sydney Dragway is a quarter mile track allowing the Volksies to stretch their legs a little further and enjoy the privilege of competing on a world class international track. This event is a dial-your-own competition, allowing everyone from novice racer in their stock street registered vehicle to all-out drag cars to run at their own pace. It's not always the fastest that wins, but rather consistency and a good light.

The 2012 VWMA series welcomes back Mick Motors as major sponsor for both Sydney and Warwick. Mick Motors continuing support makes it possible for VWMA to run the series and bring this unique one-make racing event to Australian drag tracks.

Until they decide to fix the car park up I give those buggers the finger.

Sounds good though...see what a Rocco can do against a Golf R
