Hi all, it is not often that I am impressed with the serivce and support given by todays auto parts retailers and I wanted to share this because it deserves a mention.

I have needed to replace a glow plug fuse - however I have had a hard time finding one locally and did not want to wait the 2+ weeks to find one overseas. I tried calling several places locally, including auto electricians and repco, either they didn't have them or they wanted stupid $$ (I was quoted $21 from one place).
I ended up emailing Paul at volksfactory in Holden hill - he replied to my email within about 20 minutes to say that had the fuse in stock for $2.50 and offered to post for $1.50. Called him up and did the deal over the phone.
Less than 12 hours later the fuse turned up - packed in an envelope with a business card so the fuse didn't get bent, with a credit card receipt, hand written receipt and a flyer for DOVW.
I have NEVER received such prompt and thorough service for such a pathetically small sale - for these guys who run their own business time is money and these guys went way above and beyond what I was expecting. Most other places would have just ignored me or told me to piss off.
People who provide service like this should be recognised and supported as they have proven that they deserve our business and care about their customers.
