We have deer that live near our house, I'm worried that it will affect them because they'll have to get up an hour earlier.

Consulted to a NSW company for a bit and had to live on their time anyway. Also had it in NZ... it really is not a difficult thing to live with, the 3 minutes of clock adjustment is worth it.

We are talking about an hour, I'd much rather have it at the end of the day than the beginning. Having lived with it all my life, being from the UK, it isn't that big a deal.

Besides, I'm from Tasmania and even Tasmanians figured they'd jump on it before QLD!

I hate daylight saving. As someone who doesn't work 9 to 5ish I actually lose an hour of daylight most days.
