A few other videos we took during the day. Excuse the poor quality of the audio on the GoPro car mounted videos - it was our first real outing with that camera and we obviously need to think more about the mounting locations to minimise wind noise at high speed.

If you use the solid back on the Go Pro's it eliminates a lot of the wind noise!

I think our problem was that we kept the LCD display on the back- sounds like that makes the wind noise worse and we had to keep recharging the camera as the display sucks down power.

Lesson learned for next time!

Fantastic work on the video and the ABC airtime!

If anyone's interested I chucked the final results up into a simple database to make it easier to look at the overall results (fastest run from each entrant) and filter by class, engine, manufacturer etc - http://www.fyshh.com/temora.

Is this new event the 2012 version of last year's event (ie same runway at Temora as per details released overnight to past entrants), or something different altogether?
