Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

As air cooled bias as it is there is always a few pages dedicated to the watercooled scene , and if we dont get local content they use content from O/S !

VWMA is more than happy to feature watercooled content. All you guys have to do is ask!!
Not really sure my car is worth putting in a magazine.. Tim probably won't want to put his in. haha.
Dom (WABIT) has been speaking with PVW so maybe you guys should contact him...

What's wrong with Tim? Your's isn't because its not finished but otherwise it's an awesome build!
It was nothing against VWMA at all, but obviously PVW is the pinnacle so may as well shoot that high?

Sure it would be cool as hell to get a write up in PVW. Maybe just an "Aussie Scene" feature.
My car probably won't be of high enough quality to feature in a mag. Tim's just a cranky bastard. (I'm sure he'll read this! haha)

I'll tell him to get his black ass on the forum and read up!

hey all,
Thought id chime into the convo to explain a few things......
elliot and i had a breif meeting and a loooooooong chat about the general vw/audi scene here, i basically explained what our scene is like, the history of it and where "I" think its heading.......
elliot seems super keen to put australia on the map, and he is trusting me to be the conection between AUS and PVW.....
but because i have been super busy as of late, it would be great to have "insider's" to help me, help australia be discoverd in PVW and to the world!
because, the way elliot was explaining, talk and getting your car out there really helps with finding feature cars.
at the moment its hard for me to keep "scene" and jump on the forums and talk sh*te, due to my private business picking up, all i do is work.....
my job really is to search the aussie forums for feature worthy cars, and at the moment i am working hard to find them, so its hard to dribble **** on here when i have to do my job, anyways.....
id love for the owner's or even their mates to send me some pictures of cars that "you" think are feature worthy, just naming a car wont cut it......
because.... as of next issue, i WANT to be busy setting up photoshoots for the aussie guys who deserve some coverage and appreciation in a writeup in PVW
hope that clears a few things.... let me know if you are unclear

I reckon people should post pics and info right here in this thread. Then it's public and all in one place. Easy!
