Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Anyone know of a good free image hosting website?

I posted photos from the VW Nationals here: http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/f21/...tos-58982.html. I usually use Photobucket which has been great up until recently. Due to the populraity of the thread, I have reached my 10 gig of allowed bandwidth for the month. I didnt even know there was a bandwidth limit on Photobucket. As a result you can now not view those photos until the month resets.

Which brings me to my question. Does anyone know of a good image hosting website that is free. I dont want to have to pay membership or buy stuff from the image hosting site and I dont want them to delete my images after a couple of months. I only really need it to host images I put on forums, so I dont really require major storage space. Cheers.

imageshack annoys me with its virus like pop ups.

I've heard from photo ners flickr is really good, but couldn't you just open a second photobucket account?
