  • LED Parkiing Lights don't work - Mk V GTI

Just bought some white LEDs to replace the dull OEM Parking light globes.

I did the same for my Mk 1 Audi TT and they looked great, so wanted the same for the Mk V GTI.

Fitted the LEDs but they didn't work.

Contacted the seller (eBay, I've bought from a number of times) who promptyl replied, that if the car had a "CANBUS" system, the low power consumption of the LEDs would be recognised as a faulty globe, and current would not be supplied to them.

    Can anyone advise please?
