hi guys looking at new build focus for a cruise car. im looking at buying cheaper to have more for bits. ive found a 95 gl golf 161 thou ks auto. and a 96 seat 216 thou manual . has anybody got opinions which would help decide which to start with. both are within $500 of each other ... i dont want to build a show or race car just a good cruise car .

I would go the GL.
Less km's and more readily available information.
My only worry would be the Auto.
Why not pick up Dom's parents VR6? -
is dom's parents vr6 the one posted on here with user name dado? both of the cars im looking at are under 3 grand as i have to sell my jeep to fund the start of the projectComment

had a look at the link but think it would put me over my budget at this point, due to higher purchase price plus the its in vic fact and iam in nsw.Comment
